– Sugar, condensed milk (depending on taste)
– Water: 1 liter (you can adjust the amount of water to suit the tastes of each person)
Step 1: remove the outer coat of the corn, separate the kernels from the cob, wash and drain the kernels.
Step 2: put corn kernels in a blender and puree with 1 liter of water, remember to puree very fine, so the juice from the kernels with come all out.
Step 3: boil the cobs because if you do that, then cobs will add aroma and natural sweetness, and if you do not have too much time, then skip this step
Step 4: Filter corn milk, use a towel as a filter, pour the pureed kernels on to the towel and squeeze the juice out. Add a little of water to make the juice come out easier.
Step 5: Once you’re done filtering corn milk, pour 200ml offresh milk into milk in it and bring it to a boil, you have to keep stirring constantly to avoid lumps of corn starch forming on the bottom pot, you boil with medium heat and when the milk starts bubbling you still have to stir well then add sugar or milk to taste.
After boiling to mix the liquids together, let cool for half an hour and the put it in the fridge to chill, it is better served cold. You can store this for 2 days in the fridge but don’t store it for too long, otherwise it will turn bad because of the corn in it.
